The White River is the only river I fish. Let me show you how.

"I'm your guide, Bill Tuggle. Want to hire a guide who will allow you to fish your way? I'll give you as much, or as little, assistance as you wish... it's your trip.
We are dedicated to making your trip memorable and fun. Anglers of all ages and experience levels are welcome and children 12 and under free with adult.
There is nothing in the world like the look on a small ones face when they hook that fish for the first time!
Both Beaver Lake above, and the White River below the Beaver Dam are renowned Striper waters. The current Arkansas State record was landed right here where we fish, below the Beaver Dam. This is not the record fish shown - the record was much bigger at 64 pounds 8 ounces.
"Four trips, never without fish. Thanks for coming onto MY boat and showing me how to run it on the other White."...Ron T., Pineville Mo.
We welcome all anglers from 1st timers to veterans. |
"Bill took us fishing last May, the weather was great, Bill was terrific and we caught our limit in Trout, with several Bass and a couple of Walleye all on one trip. Great river, great fishing, and a knowledgeable, friendly guide. We definitely want to do this again."
...Brian and Marla Ruttan, Rogers, AR
The White river is one of Arkansas's best-known trout havens, and is truly a world class fishery. The cold tailwaters from the White River's Beaver Dam creates ideal habitat for trout. The White River produces many like this one, but it also produces the big ones...On March 14, 1981 Jim Miller of Memphis, Tennessee, reeled the state-record rainbow from the White River. It tipped the scales at 19 pounds, one ounce.
"Great time , great guide. Worked with me through 3 cancellations last august due to work and still got me on the fish. I am planning another trip this coming summer."
...T. James Rogers AR
Clear, gravel bottomed mountain rivers like the White River make for excellent Walleye fishing. We catch many like this one. The current world record, a 22-pound, 11-ounce fish was caught in another area of the Ozarks - Greers Ferry Lake in 1982 by Al Nelson of Quitman.
"I own a boat. When I use a guide and tell them I have a boat, they normally clam up. Bill was very helpful in pointing out fishing spots and techniques and showing me boating hazards. That is extremely uncommon and really appreciated. But then, he made the trip so easy and enjoyable, I might just keep going with him and leave my boat in the garage."...Bernie Grimes | http://www.whiteriverguide.com/?gclid=CNP4k8uXoIsCFR3VgAodX1XFfw |
